Choc Banana Protein Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup BARLEYMAX Super Barley flakes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 banana, sliced

Method:

1) Add Super Barley flakes and water to a small saucepan over medium hat. Simmer for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy.

2) Remove from heat and cool slightly (this helps prevent the protein powder from going clumpy!). Add cocoa powder, protein powder and salt and stir until well combined.

3) Top porridge with banana and enjoy!
